A New Mixed-Use Development is Coming to Downtown Alpharetta
Alpharetta
District Places
The 2.4-acre project is situated along Roswell Street between Old Milton Parkway and Marietta Street. This development aims to match the residential scale and architectural character of the downtown Alpharetta Heritage District, combining a unique mix of retail tenants, community spaces, and onsite parking.
Developed by Alpharetta District Places, LLC, a local joint venture between Market District Development (MDD) and McKibbon Places (MP), the project is led by managing partners Brent Beecham (CEO, MDD), Greg Swayne (COO, MDD), Eric Richards (founding partner, MDD), and Erik Rowen (President, MP). The design team includes Tracy Ward of Benchmark Design International, Inc., as the design architect, alongside Preston Partnership and Civil Landscape Architecture by AEC, Inc. Leasing efforts are being led by Amy Fingerhut of CBRE with support from Olivia Arnold and Raquel Hwang.
The development will be situated opposite the newly constructed Alpha Loop, a multi-use trail that connects the city’s green spaces and other notable Alpharetta landmarks.
A portion of the development aims to encourage and foster small businesses, with the hope of offering some units as small as 400 square feet.
